Heart Thumper Time Trial - Tuesday, February 4, 2020

The Rochester Nordic Ski Team held a 2.2K freestyle time trial on the Quarry Hill Trails under cloudy skies and a moderate 19 degrees.  The 40 degree temps from two days previous created an icy/hard pack trail, but the expert RASC groomers tamed the trail to provide fast, but controllable, conditions for the race. The 86 skiers received valentine chocolates after crossing the finish line!
